Grape variety: Chardonnay

Since the founding of our winery in 2000, we have pursued the vision of creating an extraordinary Chardonnay that clearly reflects the unique terroirs and origins of the grapes. The grapes for Donà D'Or come from three vineyards with different soils—granite, porphyry, and clay-limestone. This diversity imparts remarkable depth and complexity to the wine.

The careful vinification process involves spontaneous fermentation, malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels, and a long aging period on the lees, which shape its individual character. The Donà D'Or presents itself in a golden-yellow colour and delights with a multilayered bouquet of Williams pear, banana, melted butter, and vanilla. On the palate, it is creamy and smooth, complemented by fresh herbal notes.

The harmonious interplay of freshness and softness culminates in a long-lasting mineral finish, rounded off by a hint of salty lemon.
