Grape variety: Mittervernatsch

Our goal was to bottle this exquisite clone (Mittervernatsch) separately, as it is distinguished by its unique primary fruit, allowing us to fully showcase its unmistakable characteristics. Even in its youth, this vintage of Schiava reveals remarkable potential. It seduces with an elegant interplay of aromas, including fresh sour cherries, raspberries, and delicate violets, all enhanced by its harmonious fruitiness.

On the palate, the Schiava presents an appealing spiciness and refreshing liveliness. Fine, well-integrated tannins provide structure, while subtle notes of liquorice and sweet wood underscore the flavour. This wine impresses with its finesse and expressiveness—ideal for enjoying now or allowing a bit more ageing to develop its full potential.
